Castello di Albola
Acciaiolo Toscana IGT
Acciaiolo Toscana IGT
The Acciaiolo of Castello di Albola is the emblem of power and elegance. This exclusive wine, made from a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, expresses the unique character of the Radda in Chianti terroir. The name honors the historic House of the Acciaiuoli, offering a unique sensory experience: a soft body, enveloping aroma, and a long, persistent finish.
The grapes are harvested manually and selected in the vineyard.
Upon arrival, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
The period of contact with the skins varies from 3 to 4 weeks with constant monitoring of the extraction.
The wines then undergo malolactic fermentation in steel, followed by a period of approximately 18 months in French oak barriques.
Ageing continues in the bottle for about 18 months.
