Chianti Classico DOCG Reserve

The vineyards are located at an altitude ranging between 350 and 600 meters above sea level, ensuring an ideal microclimate for grape cultivation. The soils belong to the geological formation of Alberese, derived from Pliocene marine deposits, characterized by a clayey texture and excellent drainage.

The harvest is carried out manually to preserve the quality of the grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with about 25 days of skin contact to achieve perfect extraction of aromas, color, and structure.

Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging for about 14 months: 60% matures in 34-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, while the remaining 40% rests in French oak barriques and tonneaux.

The aging process continues in the bottle for approximately 18 months, developing elegance, complexity, and a unique aromatic profile. This carefully managed process enhances the characteristics of the terroir, resulting in a wine of great quality and refinement.
